measuring good UX

These are the core ideas that I use to guide good UX. Clear, practical, and easy to remember.

1. Put Users First

Design for real people. Understand their needs, goals, and frustrations before making decisions. Test, observe, and listen.

2. Keep Things Consistent

Make your interface predictable. Buttons, menus, and labels should behave the same way across your app or website.

3. Show Clear Hierarchy

Organize content so people see what’s most important first. Group, space, and highlight information to guide action.

4. Design for Contex

Think about when, where, and how people will use your app or site. Design should fit the situation.

5. Give Users Control

Let people make choices, correct mistakes, and undo actions. Avoid surprises or automatic changes.

6. Make It Accessible

Design for everyone. Consider different abilities and situations. Accessibility is part of good UX, not an extra.

7. Prioritize Usability

Keep it simple, clear, and easy to use. Every interaction should help users reach their goal quickly and confidently.
